Your paperwork stays with you.

Department of Minor Disasters is a fictional browser puzzle game at FixThisError. You do not need an account. We do not run advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies.

Progress in your browser

Game progress is stored locally in your browser. The game does not send your saved progress or puzzle choices to our servers. Progress does not automatically sync between devices or browsers. Clearing this site's browser storage removes it; private browsing may discard it when you leave.

Hosting and request logs

Loading the site necessarily sends requests to our hosting provider. The provider may keep technical request logs, including IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. These logs are separate from your locally saved game. We do not collect server-side player profiles.

If you email us

If you contact us, we receive your email address and anything you include in the message. We use that information to handle your inquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive information or real-world repair details.

Questions and updates

Privacy questions can go to hello@fixthiserror.com. We will update this page if the game's data practices change.
